Renewing OPD Provider account

👍 How-to guide for OPD Providers to renew account

If you are an ongoing / continuing professional development training provider (OPD Provider) and you already have an ACA OPD account that expired. This guide will tell you how to renew this licence to ensure your current course listings are publicly available on our website, and for our 12,000+ members to view.

  1. HOW-TO LOGIN TO THE OPD PROVIDER ACCOUNT

✅ Ensure you have your account details:

- Login

- Passcode

✅ Log in to your OPD Event Provider Account here: Australian Counselling Association (theaca.net.au).

2. PURCHASE OPD EVENT LISTING LICENCE

When you are in the account, you will be directed to select and purchase an annual subscription or 'OPD licence'. You can choose from:

  • Basic $175 -1 event;
  • Standard-$575 up to 12 events; or
  • Premium -  $1095 unlimited events.

Events are to be used within the valid 12-month period only. Expired events will not roll over.

One event is considered to be one specific course at one specific time and date, at one location.

Visit https://www.theaca.net.au/events/index.php to learn more about an ACA OPD Licence, and make sure you read our OPD Policy

3. HOW-TO ENTER YOUR EVENT LISTING DETAILS FOR APPROVAL

Once that is processed, a template will appear for you to enter the details of your event.

Click on 'Register an OPD Event'. Please copy and paste the details from a Word document because the system is prone to timing out and the data of the event will be lost. Once you complete the template and click the submit button, I will receive a notification that there is an event pending approval. Click on 'Register an OPD event'.
